WELCOME TO THE DRAWING ROOMS
I have always had a passion for beautiful homes and interiors since buying my first property. Back then, my head was brimming with creative ideas that I couldn't afford so learned to satisfy my lust for design by making everything myself, especially the curtains and blinds. I loved to experiment with the latest bold paint colours, wallpapers, patterns and textures.
Soon friends and family were asking me to help them too, so I decided to learn how to make curtains and blinds professionally. But my passion and skills were more for design than making, so found other more skilled trades to help me, many of whom I am still working with today.
Many house moves/renovations later, I made my passion for Design official by doing an Interior Design qualification and set up The Drawing Rooms Interior Design Consultancy, going from strength to strength, with lots of delighted clients over the years. I have also been lucky enough to further hone my skills working as a designer at the lovely Susie Watson Designs in Marlow for 6 years too.
